About the Usage of Linear Transformations on Tensor Product Spaces
We discuss an interesting tensor structure which arises in several applications, e.g. partial differential equations with stochastic coefficients and coupled cluster method. The mathematical structure of these tensors differs from the so far discussed tensor structures. We will show in our talk that the special structure of these tensors can be advantageously exploited in high dimensions. We demonstrate our results by convincing numerical examples.
