Seminar on Non-Linear Algebra
The group of Bernd Sturmfels at MPI MIS Leipzig and his group at TU Berlin organize a weekly joint seminar, taking place alternatingly in Leipzig and Berlin. The seminar covers a wide range of topics in non-linear algebra, such as algebraic geometry, combinatorics, convexity, statistics, optimization, and the interactions of these areas.
