The [O->]GAMM Committee Efficient numerical methods for partial differential equations in cooperation with the Max-Planck-Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences organises the annual GAMM-Seminar Leipzig.

  Time and Place  
  The workshop will take place at the Max-Planck-Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences in Leipzig February 1-3, 2001.  
  Seminar Topics  
  The workshop topics include but are not limited to:
  • Grids for PDE applications
  • Surface Grids for the BEM
  • Hierarchically structured grids
  • Grid refinement procedures
  • Grid coarsening techniques
  • Anisotropic grids
  • Geometry description and grid generation
  • Geometry representation versus grid generation
 
  Invited Speakers  
  The following speakers have confirmed to present invited lectures:  
  Call for Papers  
  Please send abstracts (10-20 lines) of your lecture by Nov. 30, 2000. Notice of acceptance will be given by Dec. 15, 2000. All participants may send a short description of their work on the topic of the conference for inclusion in the collection of abstracts.
