Singularity formation in incompressible fluids

Singularity formation is a topic of great importance in the study of incompressible fluid dynamics, and until recently the results in this direction were few and far between. In this talk, we will present an overview of some these recent results, with an emphasis on 3-dimensional Euler and related models.
