Abstract:
We consider the polyharmonic elliptic eigen value problem in bounded domain in both locally compact and limit case of Sobolev embedding.We prove existence of sign changing eigen function in the locally compact case by general sobolev embedding and in the limit case by an improved Moser Trudinger inequality of D.R.Adams.
