European Women in Mathematics (EWM): German Chapter Conference 2019

This workshop provides a platform for communication and networking among mathematicians from all research areas within the framework of the German Chapter of the EWM. This meeting will consist of plenary talks, several shorter contributed talks by the participants, a poster session, and the opening of the exhibition «Women of Mathematics throughout Europe -- a Gallery of Portraits». Everybody, irrespective of their gender, is welcome to attend the workshop. Please submit the title and abstract of your talk by the end of July.

There will be limited funding towards travel and accommodation for early career participants such as postdoctoral researchers, PhD and master students. Applicants are expected to write a short, informal letter of motivation and to kindly present their work in the form of a poster/contributed talk. The deadline for funding is June 15, 2019. The decision on funding will be communicated by June 28.

Our workshop will start on Monday, October 28th, with registration and coffee at 2 p.m. and will end on Wednesday, October 30th, around lunchtime (12:30 p.m.).
