Max Planck Intersectional Symposium Developments in Statistics and Data Science (DSDS-2020)
October 27 - 28, 2020
Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics, Berlin
This event has been canceled due to the global crisis.
According to current rules, no more than 25 people are allowed into the large lecture hall. We do not know when that might change, but, under the current circumstances, it is not possible to proceed as had been planned. After careful deliberations, we thus decided not to hold the in-person event at the October date.
The scientific organizers will get together soon in a video-conference to discuss next steps. While an on-line option is possible, we might prefer to reschedule this symposium in in-person format, but this requires discussion. We will post new information as soon as possible.
This intersectional symposium highlights some of the exciting developments in mathematical statistics, data science, and their applications.
The aim is to foster conversations within the Max Planck Society and beyond.
The speakers are international pioneers and current leaders in the field.
