Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences

This half-day workshop brings together the Nonlinear Algebra group of Bernd Sturmfels and the Geometry, Groups & Dynamics group of Anna Wienhard.

All group members will get the opportunity to introduce themselves and their mathematical interests during a lightning talk session (one slide, 1-2 minutes per person), and common points of interest will be explored during an afternoon activity. In the evening we gather for a further social outing.
