The analytic theory of renormalization in regularity structures

I will give a gentle introduction to Martin Hairer's theory of regularity structures which a focus on how "renormalization" appears there. Then I will describe the mathematical challenges involved in developing making renormalization systematic in this theory, here I will focus on how one obtains stochastic estimates which are fundamental inputs to the local existence theorems proved by the theory.
