Spectral Theory and Discrete Subgroups in Higher Rank 2: Resonances for Anosov Representations
- Tobias Weich (Universität Paderborn)
Abstract
The second talk motivates the concept of resonances in hyperbolic geometry before establishing their definition for higher-rank Weyl chamber actions on quotients by Anosov subgroups. A central component of this exposition is the crucial role of the domains of discontinuity recently developed by Delarue-Monclaire and Sanders. The talk concludes with an overview of applications to precise local mixing and meromorphic Poincaré series.
