Elima Shehu completed her Master’s degree in Mathematical Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Tirana in 2019. In her master thesis she has studied numerical methods for solving nonlinear PDEs. At our institute she is part of the Nonlinear Algebra group, and she is working on her PhD under the supervision of Paul Breiding. She is part of IMPRS as external PhD student.
Her research interests involve Applied Algebraic Geometry and Numerical Nonlinear Algebra. In particular she works with problems arising in computer vision.
