Prof. Dr. Johannes Henn is director at the Max Planck Institute for Physics in Munich. He is heading the institute’s research in quantum field theory and scattering amplitudes. Also, he is the principal investigator of the ERC-funded project “Novel structures in scattering amplitudes”.
“My research area is at the interface of elementary particle physics and quantum field theory. What fascinates me especially is that ideas coming from different scientific communities help bring about advances. In the collaboration with the MPI MiS I especially appreciate the eagerness of everyone involved to share knowledge and to learn new things. On the weekends I enjoy hiking in the mountains to unwind and to get new perspectives.”
