Mima Stanojkovski is a postdoctoral researcher in the Nonlinear Algebra group of Bernd Sturmfels at the MPI MiS. She wrote her doctoral dissertation 'Intense automorphisms of finite groups' at Leiden University under the supervision of Hendrik Lenstra. After receiving her PhD in 2017, she spent two years as a postdoctoral researcher in the group of Christopher Voll at the University of Bielefeld.
In her research she mostly considers problems about p-groups, isomorphism problems, and related counting functions; her mathematical interests spread however in different directions.
She works and lives to hiphop beats, loves the colors of nature and is a big fan of 'aperitivo'. As a day without laughter is a day wasted, she is always up for a good (or bad) joke.
