My name is Francesca Tombari and I am a graduate student at KTH in Stockholm. I have had several occasions to talk to people in the Nonlinear Algebra group at MPI Leipzig in the past. Every time I had the chance to learn something new and exciting from them and their research. During my one week visit there has been a fantastic atmosphere and many stimulating formal and informal math discussions.
I work in Topological Data Analysis. In particular, I like to think about the topological, algebraic and combinatorial aspects of the field. Lately, possets popped up in my research quite often.
I like way too many things, but my most constant passions are discovering new places, both where I live and when travelling, reading books (currently Di viaggi e di sogni, A.Tabucchi) and, of course, good food and drinks.
