The Navier-Stokes equations with rough initial data

Abstract

We present some new results on the strong solvability of the Navier-Stokes equations if the initial velocity belongs to suitable spaces of distributions. In particular, we present an analogue to a recent result of Cannone for the case of a bounded domain and discuss uniqueness questions.
