Abstract
The Feynman representation is tool which allows mathematicians to translate questions about the Bose gas into statements about the statistics of Brownian loop soups. In this talk, we will introduce the Feynman loop soup representation and discuss how the emergence of random interlacements in such soups is linked to the phenomenon of Bose-Einstein condensation. This is joint/ongoing work with T. Bai, M. Dickson, W. König and A. Zass.
