Long-time front asymptotics for systems of Fisher-KPP type

Abstract
In this talk, I will introduce the beautiful connection between the Fisher-KPP equation, a thoroughly studied model of invasions, and the particle system known as Branching Brownian Motion. I will provide a historical overview of the efforts to determine the asymptotics of the invasion front, highlighting contributions from both analysts and probabilists. Finally, I will present recent results on the long-time behavior of systems of Fisher-KPP type which can be associated with multitype Branching Brownian Motion.
