Mathematical models of neuronal and synaptic dynamics

We discuss stochastic models of neuronal activity, like the Poisson neuron, and of synaptic transmission and weight changes, like STDP. The course will also develop the necessary mathematical methods from stochastic processes, dynamical systems and information theory.
