Luca Carlini is an undergraduate student of Statistics at the University of Genoa, Italy. He recently finished his exams and he is doing his traineeship and bachelor's thesis at the MPI MiS under the supervision of Christiane Görgen and Nihat Ay.
In particular, Luca is dealing with statistical models, statistical inference, polynomial equations in algebraic statistics, information theory and causal networks.
After his three months in Leipzig, he will graduate at the end of September. He will start his master in Statistical Sciences at the University of Bologna, Italy.
