Marvin Anas Hahn completed his PhD at the University of Tübingen under the supervision of Hannah Markwig. His research interest lies in the interaction of several fields, such as algebraic geometry, arithmetic geometry, combinatorics, random matrix theory, representation theory and tropical geometry.
Currently, Marvin is working on a number of projects in Hurwitz theory, p-adic Narasimhan-Seshadri theory, and tropical geometry. In all these projects methods from several fields strongly interact with each other and enable constructive approaches to abstract problems.
Moreover, he is very excited to spend time on the 27 questions on cubics and therefore stays in avid contact with the Nonlinear Algebra group in Leipzig. At the moment, Marvin is a postdoc at the Goethe University in Frankfurt as part of the research unit Uniformized Structures in Arithmetic and Geometry.
