Roser Homs is currently doing a short postdoc at TU Berlin in the framework of the Math+ Thematic Semester on Algebraic Geometry: Varieties, Polyhedra, Computation. She just obtained her Ph.D. in July at the Universitat de Barcelona, under the supervision of Joan Elias.
Her main research interest is commutative algebra. She will often be visiting the Nonlinear Algebra Group at MPI Leipzigthis fall, where she expects to join seminars and workshops and learn about related areas.
Besides maths, Roser loves hiking and running, though not very fast so that she can enjoy the views and nature.
