Alexey Kalugin’s research interests lie in quantizations of various types and their relations to algebraic geometry, more specifically to moduli spaces of curves and mixed Tate motives. In November 2021, he will join the research groups of Bernd Sturmfels and Noémie Combe as a postdoc.
In his free time, Alexey enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, and hiking.
