Darrick Lee

My name is Darrick Lee and I am currently a postdoc at EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland.

My work focuses on interactions between the areas of geometry/topology and the path signature. In one direction, I work on extending signature methods to geometric or topological settings in the context of machine learning. In the other direction, I am also interested in how the geometric or topological perspective can lead to novel generalizations of the signature.

I spent a week visiting the Nonlinear Algebra group at the MPI in March 2022 to discuss and share ideas related to signatures and algebraic geometry.
