My name is Saiei Matsubara, and I am an associate Professor at Kumamoto University in Japan. My research interest is algebraic analysis and special functions. Recently, I am also interested in algebraic statistics and Feynman integrals in quantum field theory, in which special function appears naturally as a solution of a holonomic system. It is my great pleasure to communicate with the non-linear algebra group at MPI MiS and to cultivate the interaction between algebra and analysis.
In my free time, I enjoy drinking coffee, walking, riding a bike, cooking and studying history, especially on ancient china.
