Open Source Computer Algebra Research (OSCAR)

This is a workshop co-organized by the SFB TRR 195 and the MPI MIS Leipzig on open source computer algebra research and its applications. The workshop aims at promoting the work of the German open source computer algebra community and the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences, with special emphasis on the newly established SFB-TRR 195 and the newly established MPI working groups on Nonlinear Algebra, Combinatorial Algebraic Geometry, and Tensors and Optimization.

The topics of the talks will revolve around computational algebraic geometry and its applications, and there will be ample time and space for collaborations and discussions.
