Algebraic and Geometric Invariants for Geometric Data

Abstract
In this talk, I am going to introduce main tools of Geometric and Topological Data Analysis including persistence, merge trees and Reeb graphs. I will also present some of my work relating to stability, optimality and characterizations of these tools.
