Derivation of the homogenized bending plate model from 3D nonlinear elasticity

Starting from the minimization formulation of 3d nonlinear elasticity we derive the homogenized plate model in the bending regime, by means of Gamma convergence. We obtain different models, depending on the relation between the oscillations of the material and the thickness of the body.
