Gradient Gibbs Measures in Atomistic Systems

  • Eris Runa (MPI MiS, Leipzig)
A3 01 (Sophus-Lie room)

Abstract

Abstract: Gibbs measures are fundamental quantities to be studied in Statistical Mechanics. We will consider very general local interaction and show that some large deviation principles hold and the corrisponding rate functions have an integral representation. Part of what I will be saying is inspired by a recent result of Roman Kotecký and Stephan Luckhaus.
