Nonlocal curvature flows

In this seminar I will introduce a class of (possibly nonlocal) curvatures, and I will describe the level set approach to the corresponding geometric flows. Then, I will introduce a notion of generalized perimeter and describe the minimizing movements approach.

Such method is consistent with the level set approach whenever the curvature is the first variation of the perimeter in this generalized context. These results are in collaboration with A. Chambolle and M. Morini.
