Abstract

A variety of semiconductor oxide systems and their morphology will be discussed. Epitaxial layers deposited at low pressure show vicinal surfaces and layer-by-layer growth. At higher pressures, nanowire forest from with complicated dependence on growth conditions. Applications of such structures reach from high mobility transistors, magneto-tunneling junctions to coherent nano light sources and fingerprint sensors.
