Abstract

A method to present and analyze protein sequence data as unit count tensors will be presented. The method have the ambition to have the ability to both analyze sequence position and species cluster specific mean property sequences and also analyze species correlations. Position specific evolutionary models including constraints from the funneling model of protein folding will be discussed. The method will be applied to distinguish the cold adapted representatives of the enzyme family elastase.
