Small divisors problem in quasi-periodic homogenization

In this talk I will present a recent result of P.L. Lions on the fine qualitative properties of correctors in homogenization of linear elliptic PDEs in quasi-periodic media. The behavior of these correctors is governed by some fine algebraic relations between the periods. This can be seen as one of the simplest instance of the so-called small divisors problem.
