The Geometry of Hilbert Schemes

Abstract
This will be an overview talk about Hilbert Schemes in Algebraic Geometry. I will speak about the construction and properties of these spaces in a mostly informal way, with emphasis on explicit examples. This is an introductory seminar for the reading group of Hilbert Schemes to be held in the middle of March at the MPI.
