Macaulay2 in the Sciences

We are organizing a three-day Macaulay2 development workshop to take place at Max Planck Institute in Leipzig from afternoon of Monday Nov 25th to noon on Thursday Nov 28. All participants will work to develop packages related to their areas of research (statistics, physics, biology, applied algebraic geometry, combinatorics, etc.) and extend the core functionality of Macaulay2. New participants will join groups led by experienced researchers. There will be tutorials to train beginners in Macaulay2 as well as aspects of open-source software development and collaboration. For the previous iterations in Leipzig, see the 2018 workshop and 2022 bootcamp. Project leaders and groups will be announced soon.

Due to limited capacity we encourage you to register as soon as possible.

WARNING: Please be wary if a company directly contacts you regarding payment for accommodation in Leipzig: this is fraud / phishing.
