Mathematics in the Sciences Day
Our institute was founded 25 years ago, on October 1, 1996. We celebrate this anniversary with a special one-day symposium whose title matches the institute's name "Mathematics in the Sciences".
Three lectures highlight our mission: interactions between mathematics and the sciences, in both directions. Theories developed in mathematics turn out to be exactly what is needed in the sciences, and scientific challenges from applications often give rise to fascinating mathematical methods and concepts.
Due to current Corona regulations, on-site participation is limited to invited participants. However, everyone is invited to register and follow the online broadcast of the event.
