Mirror symmetry and tropical geometry reading group

This reading group aims at exploring the links between tropical geometry and mirror symmetry. We will follow quite closely the book "Tropical Geometry and Mirror Symmetry" by Mark Gross. The ultimate goal is to go through the first three chapters of the book. The format is the following: each talk is between one hour and one hour and a half long, we will meet every two weeks (alternating between Chemnitz and Leipzig) for three or four talks in a row. Notes for each talk are written in TeX and put together in a nice collection afterwards.
