Abstract

Gaussian measures on Banach spaces over local fields can be defined and constructed by exploiting the orthogonality structures of such spaces. We discuss these constructions and their merit by exhibiting the interesting properties of the objects they produce. Since these probabilistic objects also have a rich algebraic structure, interesting questions and problems arise.
