MaRDMO: Future Gateway to FAIR Mathematical Data
- Marco Reidelbach
Abstract
Mathematical research data spans all disciplines, modeling real-world problems and solving them through algorithms in interdisciplinary workflows. Effective management of this data ensures reproducibility and reusability. The Mathematical Research Data Initiative (MaRDI) addresses this need with the MaRDI Portal, a one-stop shop for mathematical data, as well as the MathModDB and MathAlgoDB ontology and knowledge graph for standardized model and algorithm documentation. MaRDMO extends the Research Data Management Organiser, integrating the MaRDI services through guided interviews. Users can document models, algorithms, and interdisciplinary workflows and share them with the community. In addition, MaRDMO helps to identify models for specific problems, select algorithms for various tasks, or discover interdisciplinary workflows with particular objectives, models, algorithms, software, and datasets, rendering MaRDMO a versatile tool for research data management and discovery.
