Abstract

On the background of Evolutionary Robotics techniques certain aspects of neurodynamics in the sensorimotor loop are presented which are related to the observed behaviour of autonomous robots. Referring to standard discrete-time neural networks we will, among others, discuss the role of bifurcation theory and feedback control, dynamical equivalence and structural stability of neurodynamical systems, attractor morphing, behaviour representation by basins of attraction, and the possible role of chaos.
