Abstract

A mean-field limit is derived for a spin-flip dynamics with Kac-interaction and bounded flip-intensities. This is done by constructing the interacting spins from a family of independent spins flipping at uniform rate by multiparameter time changes. The convergence of these time changes in probability uniformly on small time intervals to the time changes defining the so-called mean-field-process is shown and a convergence theorem for the averaged process towards a deterministic limit is derived.
