Abstract

I will review prime concepts of the field of embodied intelligence and their far-reaching implications for our understanding of intelligence. In order to incorporate these concepts within a unifying mathematical structure, I will propose a formal model of the sensori-motor loop. I will demonstrate its generality by addressing various important subjects of the field in a mathematically rigorous way and thereby outline corresponding research directions.
