Sheaf cohomology on weighted projective spaces

Felix-Klein-Hörsaal Universität Leipzig (Leipzig)

Abstract

My talk will focus on a new and efficient method for computing sheaf cohomology for subvarieties of a weighted projective space. I will explain how this algorithmic questions is closely related to novel generalizations of the notion of a minimal free resolution. This is joint work with Michael Brown.
