Nihat Ay is the new Editor-in-Chief of INGE

Congratulations to Nihat Ay! He was appointed Editor-in-Chief of the Springer journal on Information Geometry.

This journal publishes original work in the emerging interdisciplinary field of information geometry, with both a theoretical and computational emphasis. Nihat Ay was a co-editor of the journal since its first issue.

We would also like to congratulate Nihat Ay on his new position as head of the Institute of Data Science Foundations and the corresponding professorship at TUHH Hamburg. We will report more details about this here shortly.

Future proof — Congrats on the appointment at TU Hamburg

In April 2021, our former group leader Nihat Ay was appointed professor at the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) and Head of the Institute for Data Science Foundations as part of the Hamburg Innovation Port.
