Chiara Meroni

Chiara Meroni is a master's student at the University of Trieste (Italy) attending a joint curriculum with SISSA. She is writing her Master thesis under the supervision of Antonio Lerario and Daniele Zuddas, on a generalization of Reeb's Sphere Theorem. She will start her PhD at the MPI MiS in October 2020.

Chiara is interested in (real) algebraic geometry, algebraic topology and she is fascinated by their applications in other unexpected realities. She has been working on random real algebraic geometry and now is studying real functions on manifolds, from the differential topology point of view.

Besides mathematics, Chiara enjoys sports, traveling and (really) loves eating.
