My name is Gabriel Ong and I am visiting the Nonlinear Algebra Group at the MPI-MiS this summer from Bowdoin College. My mathematical interests lie in the realm of algebra and algebraic geometry. This summer, I will be working on a project in enumerative algebraic geometry under the supervision of Paul Breiding.
Outside of mathematics, I enjoy reading, long walks, and cooking. I am looking forward to exploring the lovely city that is Leipzig this summer.
