PhD Representatives
Every other year, PhD students at the MPI MiS have a vote about their representatives. The representatives are an important communication link for all questions concerning the life as a PhD student at MPI MiS. They also represent our students in the PhDnet - a network within the Max Planck Society with the avowed goal to serve as a platform for exchange among doctoral students at Max-Planck-Institutes.
Currently, the following students are elected as PhD Representative (since February 2024):
Scientific Board
A comprehensive overview of our Scientific Board, which consists of a variety of experts. This includes the spokesperson (Stefan Hollands), deputy spokesperson (László Székelyhidi), and other members from the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences and the Leipzig University. This group plays a crucial role in strategic direction and decision-making within the organization.
Scientific Coordinator
Information about our team of professionals responsible for scientific coordination. They ensure that all research activities run smoothly and support our members in all scientific matters.
