On this special occasion, we invite you to watch our video featuring insights from our female group leaders – brilliant women shaping the future of mathematics.
May 12th marks the International Women in Mathematics Day – a wonderful occasion for the global mathematical community to celebrate the achievements of women in the field and to make their contributions more visible.
The date was chosen in honor of Iranian mathematician Maryam Mirzakhani (1977–2017), the first woman to receive the prestigious Fields Medal. Her legacy continues to inspire generations of female mathematicians around the world.
To mark this day, we are proud to present a new video featuring our female group leaders. Join us for a look behind the scenes as they share their insights into research, their daily scientific lives, and their personal visions. Through this glimpse into their work and passion, we hope to highlight the vital role women play in advancing mathematics – and to encourage more young women to pursue careers in science.
