On the extension of Lipschitz functions
In this seminar I would like to review and discuss Kirszbraun's classical theorem on the extension of Lipschitz functions and mention some recent, related results in this context. In particular, in the final part of this talk, I will present an example showing the non-existence of a Kirszbraun-type theorem in the case of Almgren's multiple valued functions.
