Convexity Day

September 09, 2019
Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences

The purpose of Convexity Day is to explore in depth connections between convex geometry and real algebraic geometry. The central objects are convex semi-algebraic sets (like spectrahedra) and their features (like normal cycles) from the point of view of convex geometry.
